Dear Ubbo Emmians,

Ever wanted to walk through 2,000 years of history in a single day? The 9th of October, the Culture Committee is organizing a day trip to the beautiful city of Nijmegen, the oldest city in the Netherlands! We will be following in the footsteps of the Romans to explore what the city (that used to be on the border of the Roman Empire) has to offer above ground as well as underground…. This city will interest many different types of historians. Looking for a fun day out during the dreary rainy fall?? Join the cult the 9th of October!!!

Some important information:

The price will be €5. Please note that travel costs to Nijmegen will not be covered by the committee.

We will begin our trip @ the well-known Peerd van Ome Loeks in front of the train station at 8:20. The train departs at 8:48, so don't be late!

The program ends at 15:30, after which you can travel back to Groningen or decide to stay in Nijmegen just a bit longer!

Don't forget to sign up on the website before Sunday the 4th of October 23:59! On the Ubbo website you will also find a link to a form that desperately wants your information. You are only signed up if you have done both.
