Wednesday 18 December, America-expert Jelte Olthof will be speaking to us about the history of presidential rhetoric. From presidential debates to bitching on twitter, victory and concession speeches, find out how presidential candidates throughout history have managed to convince American voters into supporting them!
The lecture will be held at the Synagogue in Groningen. Walk-in starts at 19:00 and the lecture will begin at 19:30. After the lecture you can practice your own art of persuasion with the rest at the Buckshot Café.
