Dear Ubbo Emmians,
Have you ever wondered why carrots are orange? Or why our eggplants are so huge? 😉 Selective plant breeding, that’s why! On the 12th of February professor Harm Zwarts will give us a lecture on the Dutch history of plant breeding and crop diffusion in the 20th century.
The lecture will be held at the Senaatszaal in Groningen. Walk-in starts at 19:00 and the lecture will begin at 19:30. Grab your clogs and sign up for free on the website.
See you there,
Leco
