GHD Ubbo Emmius

Welcome to the website of GHD Ubbo Emmius!

Since 1936, GHD Ubbo Emmius has been the study association for History students at the University of Groningen. We support our members academically and organise a wide range of extracurricular activities, both educational and social.

As a member of Ubbo Emmius, you receive discounts on textbooks and events. Moreover, Ubbo is a great way to meet fellow History students outside the lecture hall.

You can also join one of our 17 committees or apply for a position on the Board. This offers valuable experience in organising activities such as lectures, career events and social gatherings, and gives you insight into the management of a study association.
