Dear Ubbo Emmians, the third lecture of this year revolves around the ongoing war in Ukraine. In particular about which political and cultural-historical elements and developments are at the roots of the Russian invasion in Ukraine. In his lecture former Ambassador Ron Keller (Ukraine, Russia, Turkey and China) explores the different positions and interests of the parties involved. He evaluates the impact of the War on the reconstruction of Ukraine and on the wider geopolitical relations, notably those between the EU, the US and China.
